Meet Our Panel

|| Scott Evans, Related, Chief Digital Officer

Scott Evans is the Chief Digital Officer of Hudson Yards. He is responsible for the
development and implementation of the Digital Technology strategy for Hudson
Yards which officially opened in March of 2019. Scott has over 25 years of
experience building and leading global digital businesses leveraging technology to
evolve and accelerate growth. Prior to joining Related Companies, Scott was the
Vice President / General Manager – Global Digital Commerce at Tory Burch
responsible for the digital business strategy and execution in North America,
Europe, and Asia.

He also served as Vice President of Finance and Operations at Ralph Lauren
responsible for the strategic planning, finance, and operations of the North
American and European markets while ensuring strategic alignment with the
brand vision.

Earlier in his career, he held various leadership positions at Sotheby’s,
Kozmo.com, and United Parcel Service in operations, finance, industrial
engineering, technology, marketing, and strategic planning.
He received his MBA from the Stern School of Business at New York University
with a focus in Finance and Technology and holds his Bachelor of Science in
Industrial Engineering from Lehigh University.

Scott is actively involved in his West Village community serving as Chairman of the
Our Lady of Pompeii Parish Council and Finance Committee, a baseball coach in
the Greenwich Village Little League, and an Associate Member of Tiro a Segno.

|| Caren Maio, Nestio, Chief Executive Officer

Caren Maio is the CEO and Co-Founder of Nestio, the industry’s leading leasing and marketing software for multifamily professionals. Prior to Nestio, Caren lent her business expertise to corporate sales positions at powerhouse brands Nike and The Wall Street Journal. Caren graduated from New York University. She has been named one of the 3 Female Entrepreneurs to Look Out For by Metro and one of the 15 Women to Watch in Tech by Inc.com.

|| Josh Rahmani, Empire Capital, Managing Partner

Arash “Josh” Rahmani is the co-founder of several companies spanning real estate, private equity, hospitality, technology and retail. He is a seasoned professional with vast knowledge of markets and a superior track record as a dealmaker and leader.

Rahmani has extensive experience structuring transactions involving capital markets, investment sales, acquisitions, recapitalizations, joint ventures, and financing institutional grade assets. He has 13 years of executive experience in project management, developing, executing and completing business plans, as well as corporate governance, acquisitions and restructuring.

He is one the members of Empire’s investment committee. His responsibilities include oversight over underwriting of target acquisitions, forming a business plan for projects and the capitalization of each asset. He oversees the acquisition and due diligence process in the duration of each investment’s cycle as well as property management, and construction execution.

He is a partner at Empire Capital Holdings, Empire Hospitality, Think Empire, VCPRE, and Prime Essentials Rx. Over the course of his career, he has structured more than $4 billion in transactions and $400 million in sponsored acquisitions partnering with many investors, including family offices and financial institutions.

Josh is a member at the Economic Club of New York.

Josh began his career in his first semester in college at Adelphi University where he got his real estate license in 2004. By end of his second semester in university, he arranged for the sale of over $100,000,000 in properties and acquired his first three properties that year. Josh and his partner then moved their office to Manhattan and went on to negotiate a series of high profile deals over the next 5 years before starting Empire Capital Holdings.

|| Daniel Fetner, Corigin, Cheif of Staff

Daniel Fetner is the Chief of Staff at Corigin, a private investment firm focused on Venture Capital & Real Estate. In his role Daniel’s primary responsibilities include investing in Real Estate Technology companies, “bridging” Corigin’s Real Estate & VC businesses, and maintaining relationships with the firm’s real estate oriented Limited Partners. Daniel’s background spans Real Estate, Venture Capital, Startups & Private Banking. He received his MBA from the Wharton School, and BBA from The Ross School of business.

|| Ashkán Zandieh, CREtech, Chief Intelligence Officer (Moderator)

Ashkán Zandieh is a futurist, entrepreneur, and venture capital expert in real estate tech. He is the Chief Intelligence Officer at CREtech.com, the world’s largest media platform in commercial real estate tech. Mr. Zandieh oversees all market research and venture capital intelligence for the New York City-based firm. The role was the result of an M&A between CREtech and RE:Tech, the research and advisory company Zandieh founded in 2012. He is also the founder at PropertyIDX.com, New York City’s largest investment sales marketplace of mixed-use, multifamily, office, and other investment properties.
