Michael J. Novak, President Atlantic Environmental Solutions, Inc
Michael Novak has been the President of Atlantic Environmental Solutions, Inc. (AESI), located in Hoboken, New Jersey, since 1997. Michael was one of the first group of individuals to be issued a license by the State of New Jersey under its Licensed Site Remediation Professional (LSRP) program. Michael has 30 years of experience in the management and implementation of environmental consulting and remediation services.
Sefi Silvertsein, CPA
Sefi Silverstein, a Shareholder at WilkinGuttenplan, has been with the firm since 1985. Sefi specializes in providing tax, accounting and consulting services to closely-held businesses and individuals and has significant expertise in both business and individual taxation. Sefi oversees the firm’s real estate practice group and has a concentration in clients involved in all aspects of real estate.
Sefi’s clients include firms with extensive real estate holdings, which require an array of related services typical in this environment – planning and consulting both on the entity level and personal level, estate planning, trusts, business valuations, family office services, etc.- all while keeping an eye on the global picture. Sefi is on the Board of the NJ Apartment Association as well as on the Advisory Board of the Rutgers Center for Real Estate. Involvement in these organizations include teaching Financial Bootcamp to property managers and owners, as well as presenting on accounting and tax matters to graduate and under-graduate students on a real estate track.
Marc Citron, Partner Saul Ewing Arnstein & Lehr
Marc Citron counsels a broad range of commercial enterprises on real estate deals and other business transactions that are key to their growth and evolution. During his more than 45 years of legal practice, Marc has advised clients ranging from real estate developers, retailers and the hospitality sector to manufacturers and software developers on commercial and industrial projects, including those involving redevelopment and brownfields. He helps them navigate these projects from the earliest stages, including land acquisition, government permitting and approvals, and financing, through to development, leasing, and operation.
Because Marc has closed so many deals over the years, he has deep experience as a negotiator and perspective on the many options for structuring deals. He also has developed an appreciation for the need to provide practical, business-oriented solutions to his clients’ legal challenges based on his own experience as managing partner of the firm’s Princeton, NJ office.

Jerrod Delaine, Director of Development Carthage Real Estate
Jerrod Delaine has experience in real estate private equity, consulting, not-for-profit advising and project managing. Jerrod was a project management intern for the Development Division of the Jonathan Rose Companies, a green real estate policy, planning, development, civic development, and investment firm. He is currently the Director of Development for Carthage Real Estate Advisors LLC. Carthage provides and creates real estate that improves communities and generates much needed economic development activity.
Dave Gibbons, CEO of Elberon Development Group
Prior to becoming President of Elberon Development Group in 2011, Mr. Gibbons served as a Partner for Seagis Property Group, an entity that owns and operates over 7 million square feet, including approximately 2 million square feet in New Jersey. Mr. Gibbons oversaw the firm’s New Jersey office, with responsibility for acquisitions, leasing, development, and construction.
As a real estate investor over the past 15 years, Mr. Gibbons has led the leasing of over 4 million square feet of commercial space, and acquisitions totaling approximately 2.5 million square feet. He also has supervised construction projects totaling over $130 million.
Mr. Gibbons also serves as a board member for First Bank, Kean University, Elizabeth Healthcare Foundation, and NJ-NAIOP, a state-wide commercial real estate trade organization. He has served as a director or trustee for several other boards throughout his career, including Trinitas Hospital. He has served as Chairman of the board of four different organizations: Synergy Bank, Newark Legacy Charter School, Elizabeth Development Company, and the YMCA of Eastern Union County.
