The recently enacted tax law changes created a means to defer capital gain income by reinvesting the gain proceeds into a Qualified Opportunity Fund (QOF). A QOF is not only an opportunity for a taxpayer faced with a large tax liability, it is also a potential new source of capital for developers considering investments in neglected areas which are in need of revitalization. Learn about core tax incentives for investors and what investors need to be wary of. Our panel of experts will discuss these and other issues, including how opportunity funds are established, the rules governing these funds and how to develop in these zones.
